In the past, individuals from Trinity have been so generous with their giving and now we have had two requests for individuals less fortunate. Don Richie, Arch Deacon of the Cathedral has put in a request for Hoodies, sizes L, XL, XXL, as well as twin size blankets. Now that the weather is turning cooler these items are crucial for keeping our local homeless warm and safe.
Also Fr. Bryan Bywater is again asking for men’s undies for his outreach, the Church Army. Tee Shirts, boxers, crew socks, and sports bras would also be appreciated. Again various sizes….Medium, Large and X Large. A bin will be set up in the Narthex for you to leave these items. November 22nd will be our official “Undie/Hoodie Sunday where we will pray for all who will receive these items, that they would receive the love of Christ as they receive these warm items. Thank you to all. And remember the scripture verse….. “When did I clothe you Lord ?"…..'when you provided Undies and Hoodies for my sons and daughters in Hartford'.
Greetings from Trinity's Monday night Pizza, Pint, & and Prayer small group!

Trinity Church’s Candlelight Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols will usher in the joyous and reverent season of Christmas with the retelling of Christ’s birth. This is a beloved tradition patterned after the service from King’s College, Cambridge, which dates back to 1918. The backbone of the service, the lessons and the prayers, has remained virtually unchanged. | Wherever the service is heard and however it is adapted, whether the music is provided by choir or congregation, the pattern and strength of the service derives from the lessons and not the music. The main theme is the development of the loving purposes of God seen through the windows and words of God’s Word. |
