  • First Sunday of the month - Music led by St. Gregory Choir.
  • Second Sunday of the month - Blended music led by St. Gregory Choir & Contemporary Worship Team.
  • Third Sunday of the month - Music led by Contemporary Worship Team
  • Fourth Sunday of the month - Blended music led by St. Gregory Choir & Contemporary Worship Team.
Note: this schedule is subject to the occasional change.

"Music strikes in me a deep fit of devotion and a profound contemplation of the First Composer. There is something in it of Divinity more than the ear discovers." – Sir Thomas Brown Religio Medici

Note from the St. Gregory Choir Director:

"Expressing God’s word in the form of song and instrumental music can touch people in ways that the spoken word cannot. This core group of St. Gregory Choir members shows up…every week…we pray, think, sing, laugh, share, and sing some more.

With every piece of music, we dig to its core.  We aim to discover its meaning, interpret its intention, and determine how to present it in a way to touch our listeners.

We sing a wide variety of music, so you never know what you’re going to get!  Our arms are always open to those who want to try singing with us.  So, feel free to show up at any rehearsal!

Current members include: Phyllis Butta, Carolyn Clement, Lynn Morris, Cassandra Pease, Caitlin Wild, Sharon Girard, Jane Martin, Dana Wild, Mike Morales, Bill Pease, Terry McSweeney, Steve Parker, Rik Prechtl, Brian Zeiner.  When Florida is not their home, Lee and Bill Cross complement our group.

Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; praise Him with the psaltery and harp.
Praise Him with the timbrel and dance;
praise Him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise Him upon the loud cymbals.
–Psalm 150

Our Style

The St. Gregory Choir is a dedicated, warm, welcoming, close-knit group of people, committed to high standards of choral singing.

Special Events

In addition to Sunday morning worship, we also sing at a variety of services throughout the year including Holy Days, special events such as the Candlelight Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols, Festival Choral Evensong and special music for Advent, Christmas, Holy Week and Easter.

What We Sing

We sing a wide variety of music from various Christian traditions with special emphasis on our rich Anglican choral tradition.

Join Us

Currently, the choir meets every Thursday on Zoom at 7:00 pm.
In non-pandemic times, rehearsals are Thursday, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM. We also gather at 8:45am on Sunday mornings to warm up and rehearse before the 9:45am service.

Please come and join us!

Several times per year, we sing “blended” anthems when the choir joins with the voices of the Contemporary Worship Team.  The twice a month blended services also give us an opportunity to support each other in song, and as a result, wonderful friendships are forming amongst all musicians.
