Worship

The building at 11 Church Street in Tariffville is a center for our worship.
We have three worship services each Sunday - learn more here. We offer special services throughout the year, and there are ministries at work each week to enhance our worship experience. |

Music is an important part of our praise and worship, and Trinity is known as a "singing church."

Trinity has a traditional liturgical style, with a modern twist. We enjoy “smells and bells” for high holy day celebrations, such as Christmas Eve, Easter Vigil and other important holidays. Our four weekly services are less formal, and include both traditional and more contemporary practices. Each always includes a celebration of the Eucharist.
- Our 8am Sunday service is the classic Episcopal “early service:” - no music, Rite 1.
- The 9:45am Sunday service is our main gathering. Music is split between traditional choral singing, led by our St. Gregory Choir, and more modern, led by the Contemporary Worship Team, made of singers, acoustic and electric instruments, and the AV tech team. A children’s homily is given after the collect, after which, children attend Sunday School, rejoining their families at Communion. We follow the lectionary, and use prayers from a variety of Anglican traditions.
- The Sunday 5pm service includes music led by a single musician on piano or guitar.
- Wednesday morning’s service does not include music.
- Other special services during the year include the youth-led Stations of the Cross, a Service of Healing in December, a service in a local park in June, and others.
