Sunday Service Ministries
Altar Guild
The Altar Guild is a volunteer group of the parish whose ministry is to care for the altar, vestments, vessels, and altar linens of the parish. Altar Guild members prepare the sanctuary for services, and clean up afterwards. |
Acolytes
Acolytes assist with many aspects of worship: carrying the cross, lighting candles, preparing the Eucharistic table, etc. This important role is open to anyone ages eight and up. |
Lay Readers
The Lay Readers read aloud the scripture appointed for the day, and lead the congregation in the prayers. |
Healing
The Healing Ministry is an important aspect of worship at Trinity. Learn more about healing prayer, the prayer shawl ministry, and more here. |
Chalice Bearers
Chalice Bearers hold the cup of wine at communion and offer it to the people after the bread. |
Music
Trinity is known for its music, and two strong music groups - the St. Gregory Choir and the Contemporary Worship Team provide music leadership at the Sunday morning 9:45 am service and other special services. Learn more about Trinity's music here. |
Ushers
Ushers welcome all those who come through the doors and are available provide any assistance needed. If you have any questions while visiting Trinity - find an usher at either entrance of the church and they will be happy to help! |
Parking Lot Ministry
Parking lot ministers are an important addition to special services where parking guidance is helpful. They are at work during the Lessons & Carols service, Evensong, and other high-traffic (literally!) services. |
