Update on the Tariffville Family displaced by the house fire on Center street in February.
Just last week, we were informed that the family has finally found permanent housing. The School reached out to me on Tuesday to let us know that they are preparing to move in to their new residence and are looking for some specific houseware and furniture items. Please look at the Sign up Genius link in the button below to see if you can help supply any of these items. 
Additionally, we still have money from donations received right after the fire. I was able to get them some gift cards to help keep them fed and clothed over the summer. Now that they have found housing, we will be able to put the rest of those funds towards rent.

For Small Group Sunday September13th, we have Knit, Pray, Crochet in the Library, The Worship Committee in the Associates Office, CWT in the Youth Room, and Healing Team in  the Buttaro Lounge. If you would like to schedule your group please email TrinityChurch@TrinityTariffville.org.

Scheduling your group means you are assigned a room and there is no confusion as to which group belongs in which room. 

Come and Grow (previously Breakfast Alpha) returns September 20th after the 9:30 service.  In addition to a new name, Come and Grow will be trying out some new ideas! First up: Disciples Together series.  The Disciples Together series is a collection of stand alone spiritual formation seminars covering many spiritual disciplines that communities practice together.  Each week will include a short teaching(s), a fun activity and conversation.  This series is multi-generational and families with children are encouraged to come when they can!

September 20th: Worshipping Together: Exploring the Book of Common Prayer

September 27th: Living in God’s Garden: Exploring Biblical Fellowship

The office is closed Monday, September 7th, for Labor Day. 
Update on the Tariffville Family displaced by the house fire on Center street in February.
Just this week, we were informed that the family has finally found permanent housing. The School reached out to me on Tuesday to let us know that they are preparing to move in to their new residence and are looking for some specific houseware and furniture items. Freedom Prayer

Do you frequently find yourself responding to the same fears and anxieties over and over again? Do you wonder whether God is aware of your concerns, or how you can draw close to Him in trust? Do you know with assurance that God, your Father, knows you and longs for a relationship with you?
The main goal of the Freedom Prayer ministry is to allow the Holy Spirit to identify and address areas hindering a deeper personal relationship with God.
We plan to attend training for this ministry Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 8:30-3:30 and invite you to join us as we learn how to minister in partnership with the Spirit of God, and in a spirit of gentleness and humility.
To register for the training or have any questions, contact Judy Gessford and Kathy Zirolli at FreedomPrayer@TrinityTariffville.org by September 8th.

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,
With so many changes happening lately at Trinity, I wanted my exit to retirement to be uneventful.  I thought I had managed that until this week, when I received your generous gift.
It’s been a special time for me to serve and share moments with you.  I should be gifting many of you.  What a special church community we have at Trinity.  Your devotion to the Lord, thoughtfulness, and support are just amazing.  I am grateful for this generous gift and most of all knowing such a wonderful group of loving Christians.  Thanks so much!

Looking for a couple people to grill hot dogs for the Couchon Tournament. 
This tournament is to celebrate Trinity members, Charlotte and Phil Couchon, who brought Pickelball to Simsbury!
Grillers should arrive at Tariffville Park for 10:30 am. We will be grilling from 11-1 pm.

Last week two more members of the Trinity Community went to be with the Lord: Jim Wheeler and Jim Karadimas. Since those original notices went out, we have received new information.

Jim Wheeler-  The Funeral will be July 11, 2026, 11 AM at Christ Community Church in Collinsville, 7 South Street, Canton, CT.
