Thank you for supporting our Pumpkin Patch! By purchasing your pumpkin at the Trinity and First Church Youth Pumpkin Patch, you will not only be helping the Navajo Reservation in Farmington, New Mexico. Our suppliers return the largest percentage possible to the growers ensuring that farmers can continue to operate. But you also help ensure a brighter tomorrow in a way that cannot be measured. By supporting the Student Ministries at both Trinity and First Church, you are part of our commitment to supporting and raising up youth with a passion for Jesus Christ and a concern for all people.
The funds from this year’s Patch will be split between Trinity’s Youth Ministry and First Church’s Youth Advisory Council. Through this partnership, your pumpkin purchase is going to affect twice as many youth!

Popular area band, The Daily Planet, will be the headline musical act at the Tariffville Fall Festival on Sunday, September 23, 2018.
In the late 1970’s, and early 1980’s, The Daily Planet was one of the most popular bands in the Hartford area. The Russian Lady, Mad Murphy’s, 36 Lewis Street, The Rocking Horse, and Sean Patrick’s were all frequent downtown venues where the band performed. The Daily Planet played hundreds of times in Hartford alone. Part of the reason for the band’s success was the unique mix of sixties and seventies songs that were performed. Unlike many other bands, you might hear a Motown song, followed by The Byrds , Blondie, NRBQ, or Tom Petty - all put together in a highly danceable, energetic set. The band broke up in the mid 1980’s. The most popular lineup of the band featuring Linda Ripley (vocals), Marshall Grossman (drums, vocals), Ray Williard (bass, vocals, who also plays and sings with the contemporary music group at Trinity Church Tariffville), Paul Kriksciun (guitar), and Dennis Udice (guitar, vocals) is back and will be performing at the Tariffville Fall Festival. Come enjoy this energetic mix of music at the Tariffville Fall Festival on Sunday, September 23, 2018. The Daily Planet is available for select bookings.
