5:30 - 8:00 pm

In pre-pandemic years, we've celebrated with a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper on the night before Ash Wednesday. This year, we're taking that event and adding a 2022 twist, with a bonfire, pancake races for the kids, and dinner on the grill! Take a break from cooking and come gather for an evening of fun, food, and Trinity family. Indoor and outdoor seating will be available.

ASH WEDNESDAY - March 2nd

Schedule of Ash Wednesday services. You are invited to fit one into your schedule.

8 am - Online with prayer and self imposed ashes. You may pick up ashes on Monday or Tuesday. To attend: Trinity Website Homepage, click on "Join Prayer at 8 & 8" button".
12:30 pm - In the Sanctuary with ashes and prayers
4:30 pm - In the Sanctuary with ashes and prayers
7 pm - In the Sanctuary with ashes, communion and music.

TAKE A HIKE

On the five Sundays in Lent, March 6, 13, 20, 27 and April 3, we are doing a 5 Hikes Challenge. Like the 52 Hikes Challenge, we are going to go on 5 different hikes in and around the Farmington Valley. Each hike will be led by a different Trinity Family. Hikes will begin at 9 am and be no more than 1.5 hours. Call or text Manda for more info 860-836-6129.

Evensong
Wednesdays at the 8 pm
Daily Prayer Zoom Service
Dates: Five Wednesdays during Lent - March 9, 16, 23, 30 & April 6

The 8 pm daily online service on Wednesdays evenings will be enhanced with 3 musical selections, ranging from instrumentals to vocals, all accompanied by a video. If you’ve not ever tuned in at 8 pm, try it on Wednesdays during Lent. To join, go to the Trinity website homepage and click on the “Join Prayer at 8 & 8” button.

Tuesday Morning Bible Study

Will be on a brief hiatus. Meetings will resume on March 8th.

Has your faith grown stale? Are you hungry for more of the presence of God in your life? Rev. Cy Varland, retired parish pastor and professional counselor, is now available to meet online or in Trinity’s new Spiritual Direction room to provide spiritual counseling or support.
Cy has received spiritual direction for 20 years from the retired Spiritual Director of the faculty at Boston College, has been practicing his own prayer and study life for over 50 years. You may contact him at (585) 993-0703 or cyvarland@gmail.com.

Updates on the TrinityTariffville.org Website!

In the coming months, we will slowly be updating the Trinity Website. The goal will be to make it a more user friendly experience for the congregation while also giving the surrounding community members a place to learn about our amazing church community. Check the website often and see if you notice any of the changes. If you find something that does not work or you have any other questions, please contact Manda at Mandalavallee@gmail.com.
