Pre Lenten Retreat

Learning to Embrace our Spiritual Gravity

​Would you like Lent to really mean something significant for you this year?  Why not start with a day retreat on Saturday, February 10, 2018, here at the church.  There will be a guided personal reflection, time in smaller groups, an introduction to a Lenten practice, and more.  We will conclude with the Eucharist.  Our retreat will be facilitated by Carolyn Carney

Carolyn has served on staff with InterVarsity for 35 years, including two+ years in South Africa.  She regularly designs and leads retreats for men and women, and women only groups.  She is well acquainted with Ignatian spirituality, having led the Spiritual Exercises for a number of people. Carolyn has been used by God in healing prayer also.
 
She is a member and lay leader at All Angels’ Episcopal Church in NYC.  She lives in Jersey City, with her husband, David.  She enjoys hiking, photography, conversation, travel, her dog, Keeley, a good movie and excellent dark roast coffee.  [email protected]
