On Sunday, May 21st The Covenant Presbyterian Church (aka "The Barn") in Simsbury is planning to host a Meal Packing Event for the people of Ukraine.
To hold the event, they must first raise $7,000.00 to pay for the necessary ingredients, raw materials which will produce 23,000 meals of Minestrone soup mix and shipping. They are asking for help from neighboring area churches and businesses to raise the funds. Half of the meals packed will be sent to Ukrainian refugees and the other half will benefit the local food pantry. For as little as $30 you can feed 100 people! On the first Sunday of the month, those seeking prayer can go up to the altar rail after receiving Communion, where a member of the Healing Prayer Team will pray for or with you. On other weeks, a member of the Healing Prayer Team waits in the Bell Room (near the door to the front yard), and they can pray for you there.
Trinity offers online prayer services Monday - Saturday. The days and times are listed below. To join, go to the Trinity website homepage and click on the “Join Prayer at 8 & 8” button. Morning Prayer: 8 am Monday - Saturday
