September has always been a month where we dedicate one Sunday to praying for our students, teachers and families returning to school. This year, however, we are even more aware of our need for God's blessing, protection and help. Two years of Covid have added additional anxiety and challenges for both kids and adults in our schools. Students also deal with the fears of violence at school in ways that was not part of our own school experience. For these reasons, we, as a church family want to be an extension of God’s presence and care for our families. For a kid to know that God is with me and that my church family is praying for me can be a powerful sense of security. Our goal is to provide that sense of multi generational support every Sunday here at Trinity and especially when we pray for our students and teachers on September 11.

When you see our faces, you may think of our differences.
But we are united in our allegiance to Jesus
and our faith that the Holy Spirit is pursuing people.
We are one in our hope that Followers of Jesus
are growing personally and as God’s agents in the world.
Our desire is to fulfill the Great Commission here in the Farmington Valley.
Our dream in coming together is to support, not compete with, one another.
We want God to guide our local missions of justice, evangelism, mercy, discipleship.
This is where God has called us.
The Farmington Valley is our home.
