It is with both the sorrow of loss and the joy of God’s consolation that we announce that our brother, Alex Bayne, died and entered into God’s greater glory yesterday, June 30.
Alex lived a remarkable life as a disciple of Jesus. He and Sonia were wonderful people just to be around. Alex served the Lord and the Trinity Community in many ways, as an advisor on building projects, in the Meadowbrook ministry, on the Contemporary Worship Team, and as one of the longest serving members of the Emmaus ministry. Most of all, he was a worshiper of Jesus, a great friend, and all with a sense of humor that was unforgettable. Details of the Service of Christian Burial will be published when available.
O God, who by the glorious resurrection of your Son Jesus Christ destroyed death, and brought life and immortality to light: Grant that your servant Alex, being raised with him, may know the strength of his presence, and rejoice in his eternal glory; who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
