Meadowbrook of Granby
Trinity members meet at 2pm on the first Sunday of the month to conduct a Christian, non-denominational worship service at Meadowbrook of Granby, an assisted-living facility.
Our service consists of the singing of familiar hymns with piano accompaniment, Scripture reading, a short homily, prayers for the residents, and the sharing of the peace. The residents appreciate the opportunity to sing along and to shake hands with the team. In fact, we often find that even residents who are non-verbal will join in singing the familiar songs they've known their entire lives.
Special appreciation for Fred Fitzgerald, who organizes the volunteers who participate in the service and interact lovingly with the residents.

McLean Home in Simsbury
At 11am on the second Friday of the month, Trinity members conduct a Christian, non-denominational service at McLean’s retirement home in Simsbury.
Our team meets with McLean residents in the chapel, where we offer a service of hymn-singing, Scripture, a short homily, and prayers of the people. The residents enjoy the opportunity to sing well-loved hymns and especially mentioning the names of loved ones for whom we pray aloud
during the service.
Special thanks to Moe Lavallee, who organizes the group, and to Sharon Girard, who chooses the hymns according to the Scripture readings and accompanies the singing on the keyboard. Others who participate regularly include John Nagy, Ann Garrity, Deb Woodsome, and Phyllis Butta.
