The Parenting Teenagers Course
Five Sessions on Monday Nights:
January 23 & 30, February 6, 13, & 20, 2012
6:30-8:30pm
Being a parent is one of the most important things we will do in our lives. It is also one of the most challenging. This is especially true when our kids reach the teen years. This time can be stressful for both parents and teens. In our own experience of raising teenagers, there were times when we felt unprepared and confused and challenged. There were times when we wished we had a place to ask questions and share concerns as well as our joys with others.
We are offering the “Parenting Teenagers Course” as a resource for all parents. We will offer some basic practical advice, as well as provide a context for you to share with other parents. Over the course of five evenings, we will watch a professionally produced video series and share with other parents in small group discussion. We will serve a meal each night as part of the program. If you are the parent of a teenager, or are soon to become one, we hope you will join us.
