ALPHA Logo What is ALPHA?

It is a crash course in Christianity with lots of time set aside for discussion in small groups.  It is like Christianity 101!

What Happens at ALPHA?

First, we eat!  There are a series of brief talks on topics such as:
  • Why did Jesus Die?
  • Why and How Should I Read the Bible?
  • Why and How do I Pray?
  • What About the Holy Spirit?
  • How Can I Overcome Evil?
  • Does God Heal Today?
After each talk there is a small group time for everyone to discuss any questions or issues they have.  This gives an opportunity to get to know each other and to learn together.

Alpha Group What does ALPHA stand for?

  • Anyone interested in finding out more about the Christian faith.
  • Learning and Laughter:  We learn about the Christian faith and have fun at the same time!
  • People meeting together:  This is a chance to get to know new friends.
  • Helping one another:  Small groups give you a chance to really discuss life issues.
  • Ask anything:  ALPHA is a place where no question is seen as too simple or to too hostile.
